Deep down in my pocket lives a little angel, with the finest little wings.
From time to time she leaves my pocket and flies into the sky, far above the clouds, all the way up to where the stories are drifting around.
Because, when stories have been told, they disappear into the air and slowly rise towards the upper layers of the atmosfere. Here they drift around among all the other stories that have been told over time. Some have even gone so high that they have almost been forgotten.
But the little angel collects the stories and brings them with her back to us on earth, where they can be told again and again.
A story about when I was little and climbed up the heavenly ladder in the big apple tree and grandma told stories. Stories about back then when it all began, about the greedy man, about the bird in the tree, about the line dancer and the clown Charlie, and about being in the seventh heaven.
A poetic theatre performance for children and their grown up ones, inspired by among others The Old Testament, myths from the Roman Empire and H. C. Andersen.
